Miscellaneous Improvements
As with every new release, Delta2D 3.6 includes numerous smaller
enhancements and fixes for problems that were reported by our users.
We'd like to say Thank You! to everyone who has given us feedback.
- The display of data in the statistics table has been streamlined:
- If a gel image is excluded from the display in the All Gels table (using the menu), its data will be shown in the statistics table using gray column headers.
- If no gel image in a group is visible, then no data from that group will be shown in the statistics table.
- The label column includes labels of all gel images in an expression profile even those which are not visible in the table.
- All tables also show values for filtered spots now (in gray) if other spots in the same expression profile are visible.
- Memory: Fixed a problem that artificially limited the maximum reservable memory value for Delta2D.
- Memory: Added a small program "Settings " to Delta2D start menu.
This allows you to change Delta2D's memory preferences without having to
start it.
- Memory: Memory recommendation is more moderate now to avoid problems on some machines.
- Warping: When you do Find Match Vectors on an image pair that has
unapproved vectors, Delta2D will propose to approve these by
default.
- Licensing: Show Delta2D icon for license files (*.lfk) in import license file chooser.
- User interface: Added JGoodies Plastik LnF and Lipstik LnF (best for KDE) to installation.
- Scouts: Fixed a problem with finding NCBI scout data. Fixed an exception when using NCBI scout.
- Help: Added tab with persistent favorites (bookmarks) to help window
- Warping: List of gel images in All To One warping strategy is now updated after opening another project.
- Proteome Maps: Fixed a problem with two dialogs blocking each
other on color coding if matching is not ready. Fixed an exception in
similar situation.
- Installation: Delta2D's version number is no longer added to initial installation path, start menu group, or desktop link.
