Template Matching
With Template Matching, you can define a template for an expression profile
and let Delta2D find spots whose expression profiles match the template. For
example, in a time series experiment you might want to look for spots whose
expression level increases with time.

Templates can be entered directly by specifying an expression level for
every image. Alternatively you can select a spot in the list on the top left of
the dialog and use its expression profile as a template by pressing Select highlighted gene from above list to use as
template. Increasing the p-Value will include more spots, decreasing
p-value will result in more stringent matching. Templates can also be derived
from present clusters.
Click on the PTM (Pavlidis Template Matching) button in the toolbar, or choose from the menu. The Help button (labeled "i" on the bottom left of the dialog) gives more information about the options.
