The 9th annual Protein Rainbow Workshop will be a hands-on course introducing recent improvements in gel-based electrophoretic technologies. Electrophoretic methods provide irreplaceable basis analytical tools utilized in almost all laboratories in the field of life science research.

The course will be organized together with Serva, Decodon and Mercodia and covers theoretical and practical aspects of the methodology including sample preparation, separation (1D-SDS-PAGE, 2D-SDS-PAGE) and detection (Western-Blotting, ELISA) of proteins and data analysis. The course will be supplemented by a scientific lecture afternoon, presenting recent research projects by outstanding experts in the field.
